Hi, I’m Jamie—the voice behind the pod.
The sheer improbability of life and the vastness of our planet has always tugged at me, daring me to explore, question, and wonder.
That curiosity has carried me underwater to scuba dive, into the sky to skydive, toward glowing rivers of lava, and into the wind to learn kitesurfing. It’s also taken me to work alongside people from different cultures on some pretty cool projects, and step inside an entirely new ways of seeing the world. Just as often though, that curiosity has taken me into the hidden nooks and crannies of my own backyard, reminding me that there’s always something new to discover, even in places we think we know.
Most importantly, it’s what inspired me to create Unearthed: a space to follow my curiosity out loud, dig into the unexpected, and uncover the stories of the people and places that make our world so fascinating.
I hope listening sparks that same sense of wonder in you—and maybe inspires a few adventures of your own. Thanks for being along for the journey.
